Avoid the Poison Ivy - Abaven Healing Training

Solor sat quietly, and watched Vail as she spoke passionately about the herbs before her. It was clear that healing was her calling. On their first meeting, when she had been a sweet, clumsy spitfire she hadn’t yet discovered her love for it. He remembered her seeking out herbs in an old healers den for her father when he had been sick. Perhaps that had been the first hint of the future she would want.
Then, of course, she had spent those years with a hermit healer, and had learned a great deal about healing. The overdose had, from what he understood, had opposing effects on the two sisters. Shaye had grown away from healing, and Vail had gravitated towards it.
He pulled himself away from those thoughts, and listened as Vail spoke of the herbs in front of her. She had already told him much the same when they had picked the herbs together for her garden, but he listened closely regardless. Her soft voice was soothing, and the hint of warmth in the tones was simply lovely. It was clear that he had half forgotten others had attended this meeting. His eyes where only for Vail.
