For a moment, all was silent. And then he stood and her smile faltered slightly. Aw shit. She didn't really think she ever met a wolf that was even close to her size. She noted the pinkish undertones of his fur, illuminated by his skin as he stretched himself out and stood to his full size - absolutely masculine, the girl had to hold back the urge of rolling her eyes at the dominance display. She flicked an ear at his words, shifting her weight but nevertheless not taking a step back, despite being tiny, she sure as hell could mirror his nature. He sure was smooth in his words and at the apology, she snorted. "Nah, it's cool man." She shrugged, a small after-laugh falling from her lips, her eyes half closing as she explained. "I'm just pulling your leg. I don't care." She looked up at him again and realized she had a pretty hard time focusing on which eye to look at; having two vibrant different colored eyes made it a challenge. She decided on the blue one after a beat. Oh, he slid her the name card. She gave a small half-smile. In a world of fantasy wolves with bright colors and even brighter personalities, what was the importance of names? "Everest." Unfortunately, she dropped her last name a long time ago and she didn't think twice about eliminating it. Slowly, she reclined into a seated position which, unfortunately, made her smaller. Well, time to make herself at home. |
