Serene Validis

Golden fae slipped around corners and trotted down the castle's halls, trying to find that one corridor. Before the move, even before the move was an idea, her inquisitive daughter Felicity had asked about where Serene had met Malleus exactly. While she was more than able to recall the place and the words that transpired during that fateful encounter, it seems her memory might not have been as sharp as she had hoped. After Malleus had announced the move to Armon's Castle, Serene had a secret mission for herself, a sort of surprise in mind. But that would involve actually finding the exact spot they had met, and being able to mark it to memory for that later date, and it was proving to be increasingly difficult to achieve. After the move, all Serene could think about was finding that specific corridor, but the moved require more work than she would have liked.

A new move for the mother's family meant she had to prepare another den, one big enough for her ever growing pups, hidden within the castle's secure walls. After that, she wanted to ensure the rest of the family was settling in okay, going around to as many wolves as she could find and asking if they were in need of anything. Then the meeting happened. After that, Serene finally had time to place her herbs into new soil and start to grow her garden back again, which took more work than she would have liked to admit. But finally, after weeks of working through her list of things to do, the golden woman had a few spare minutes to located the elusive landmark. So off she went, sweeping through the different rooms, walking down various hallways, slipping through passageways trying to find their spot.

At some point, she must have gotten turned around, because she ended up walking down the corridor leading to the throne room. Letting out a heavy sigh of defeat, she dragged her limbs down the hall with a growing feeling of defeat. Sniffing the air, the familiar scent of her beloved drifted towards her, making her smile softly as she picked up the pace. Perhaps he was in the throne room once more? Maybe he knew where their spot was? Serene slowed her approached when she came up to the archway, peaking her head around the corner as she scanned the room. "Malleus? Malleus, are you in here?" She would call out, sweet amber orbs searching for that familiar silver flank and devilishly handsome blue eyes.
