Typhon was still growing accustomed to the Risen Empire's new lands. Though he couldn't help but feel slightly unsettled at first after moving into a new territory, his talk with Malleus had helped him feel as though he finally had some direction - and that direction was Zinnia. He'd yet to truly make a move, but he couldn't stop thinking about what Malleus thought best for him and for the Abraxas family. Of course, he was used to over-analyzing everything and his slight worries about Zinnia rejecting his advances had caused him to feel a bit wary about the whole thing. What if she rejected him? Would Malleus see him as being at fault then? Trying to physically shake those thoughts from his mind, he decided to follow her scent once he grabbed hold of it. He'd been busying himself with scouting the borders of this run-down structure, amazed at just how much space it took up. The castle's rooms seemed to branch out far in every direction, some rooms rather intact - despite being completely reclaimed by vines and vegetation - while others were barely more than heaps of stone and rubble.

He was cautious as he navigated the unknown structure, occasionally hearing the rustle of someone presumably in an adjacent room. Zinnia's scent had grown stronger, and he hoped that by trailing after it he didn't seem like he was following her too closely. He dawdled for quite awhile, getting a better feel for some of the larger rooms, and trying to record the path he was taking to his memory. He didn't quite expect to see Zinnia when he turned the corner, though, and the slightly startled expression on his face was unmistakable. "Oh, er, hey there," Typhon greeted her, his voice hesitant but fading into a familiar sort of warmth that always seemed to appear around her. This place had an odd smell, and apparently it had temporarily screwed with his senses. "Finding anything interesting in here yet?" The Abraxas cast her a curiously look before averting his gaze to their surroundings, in particular to a tall stone pillar that rose from the earth high to the crumbled castle ceiling, at least four times his height, if not more.
