Corvus had been here before, and once again found himself meeting a rather beautiful girl around his age. His mood was much better than the last time he'd been here though, and he wasn't feeling nearly as dejected as he had been that day. Life was still a bit weird for him, but slowly was beginning to seem less strange, bit by bit. Only briefly lost in his thoughts, he heard the approach of someone nearby just moments before they spoke, and lifted his head to see whoever it was, lifting his gaze over the falls. 'You gonna jump?' She asked, as if it were the most normal greeting in the world, and he hesitated a moment before answering. "No. Should I?" Corvus asked, his expression completely deadpan, unsure if she was joking with him or not. It wasn't a big jump, so it wasn't an outlandish question, but it certainly caught him off guard.
She quickly explained that she'd been joking, and he nodded awkwardly. Yeah, of course, he tried to tell himself - though he hadn't realized she was joking at all. Corvus focused his sea-green eyes on her, watching as she moved down from her position higher up the falls, hoping she was skilled enough on her paws to avoid slipping off the rocks. They were slightly shiny under the gleam of the midday sun, obviously slick from the spray of the falls. "I know you were joking," Corvus said offhandedly, after an awkward pause. "But I wouldn't mind jumping from here. Probably a lot more safe here than from where you are," he added pointedly, shrugging his oversized shoulders.
