A grin answered Shaye’s understanding words, but the good humor fell away as she learned of Sparrow’s death. Had the Abraxas killed the woman? Her hackles bristled slightly along the shoulders before they settled again, concern obvious in her eyes. “Forgive my asking, but… how did she pass? And I’m so sorry for your loss.”
Her head bowed slightly in silent reverence, before Shaye caught on to Gwenevere’s name. The young woman nodded, a smile hesitantly returning to her features as she agreed, “She is that. She’s my cousin… though through adoption far, far back with her grandfather Cairo the first and my great Grandmother Erani. She’s a true-blooded Adravendi. Her brother Leo led a pack called Fiori for several years, and their mother, Aunt Epiphron, led it before that. Fiori was Abaven’s neighbor for a long time if I remember my history lessons correctly.”
Her ears perked up further as Shaye went on to add that she was indeed interested in trade and alliances. This was a wonderful thing to hear. It made such things as inter-pack festivals a much greater likelihood for success.
Shaye’s reaction to Aelloshir didn’t go unnoticed, and the young woman’s features eased into a soft smile. She remembered that being almost her exact reaction to meeting her father’s mated pair of mountain lions, Aelloshir’s parents, as a pup when he returned from a foray in the north with the cats at his side.
“My father has two for companions. They’re actually Aelloshir’s mother and father. My reaction was much like yours when I first met them as a child.” The cats had chosen to walk beside her family as their guardians and companions. She and Aramis had the children of their father’s cats. Aurielle knew that her future children would have at least one of the big cats at their side in life, and on down the line.
Her head cocked with interest as she listened to Shaye’s words regarding the ideas for trade, a smile upon her features as she thought over the words.
“Our pack holds sovereign over Vericona Plains and Druid’s Moor. We’re also very near to the desert lands, so have access to some herbs that might not grow here on the eastern end of Boreas, like Aloe plants, which are good for treating burns and scalds from hot water, to begin with. We also have plenty of lavender—we’re drowning in the stuff from the moors.”
Her head tipped thoughtfully to the side as she pondered, before she added, “What are your thoughts on inter-pack festivals and hunts? I know there are bison in the south – I nearly got trampled by them when something spooked them and they chose to stampede in my direction – and it could be very advantageous to join forces to bring at least two down… I’m also planning to hold something fighters may find really quite interesting—Gladiatorial events. I’m still mulling over details, but I’d love to get together with my fellow alphas from all the packs Celestial is friendly with to chat it out.”
Her gradated eyes turned to settle on Shaye again and a smile settled back onto her features, having been lost to thought for a moment. “If you have any ideas for games and events to hold at festivals – races, team spars… - feel free to throw them at me.”

At first glance, Aurielle's coat is pure white.. Her fur has an iridescent quality (like moonstones) where the fur shimmers different colors under various angles of light: in this case, the colors shown by rainbow moonstones. Not one hair on her hide is a solid unnatural color, but, ya know, it's really hard to convey that in still art :P
Aurielle's English is heavily laden with an Irish, Swedish mixed accent.
Her family is allowed to crash all her threads, Private and Open.
As of Autumn Year 14, Aurielle glows with a bright blue-white bio-luminescence in her fur, and bears a marking over her left eye - see profile and reference.
