Rhyme’s ears swiveled as he enjoyed the back and forth dialogue happening in Vail’s meeting. He didn’t really remember her from his youngest years but had known her as rather soft spoken and he was sure much like the hermit she had studied under. Ready to keep to herself but.. almost personable in groups. What he found more endearing was watching Shaye offer support and Spider offer his own knowledge. His words were even, and spoke with as much confidence as he’d displayed yet. He aimed an impressed smile at Shaye. He couldn’t say this meeting had been anything less than a success. Vail was stepping into a teacher’s role, and the attendees participated readily. Much like trading blows in fight training, but potentially more important when it came to their lives. Spider seemed to change after his input, he shrunk and began his stutter again. Rhyme couldn’t miss the change back, but he had seen progress. |
