She was thanked, but she didn't get why. She had only said that she would try to do what they had just asked of her. She supposed she could view that as her orders. To try to be free. Though freedom was such a foriegn concept she didn't know how to be free. She listened as Shaye spoke of ranking her and asked what Tana wanted to do. The options were limited, but out of the two healing was the one that interested her most.

She pawed at the ground nervously and hoped her answer for the woman wouldn't be unsatisfactory. After all she wasn't supposed to of done this under the care of Apostle. "I-I-I l-like h-herbs. I-I k-know I w-wasn't s-suposed t-to, b-but I u-used to l-listen i-into the h-h-healers m-meetings. I-if A-Apostle h-had k-known I p-probably w-would b-be d-d-dead." She turned her head away and her face scrunched in memory of the pain of apostle's fangs. She hadn't enjoyed him, he was always angry and liked to take it out on slaves. But Rhyme had been the total opposite. Her face relaxed as she thought of the touch Rhyme had given her. It was so gentle, like he cared.
