She nodded mildly as he gave his viewpoint on what had happened. "All of the captives were released unharmed?" It was possible that the terrified and confused wolves who escaped the initial raid would have inflated the dangers from the emotional trauma they suffered, but somehow she thought it more likely that the truth lay between what the Abaven refugees said and what Malleus claimed. She knew better than to assume that his current pleasant facade was more than just that, a disguise, but at the same time it was difficult to conflate the charges laid against the Abraxas with the urbane young alpha that spoke to her now. She was unsatisfied with her own reaction to the situation, and took a moment to focus her thoughts. "What can you tell me of your history with Abaven?" Her expression was carefully schooled to stillness and simple interest, but the question was one of the more important she'd asked. Abaven was... had been... Celestial's ally since before either had been created. Knowing harm had come to them at the paws of the Abraxas could not have gone over well with Regulus... though she did not understand how he could have stood by and allowed it to happen, either, let alone tell none of the rest of the pack, so she could not claim Celestial was free of guilt in that situation either.
