Her grin widened as the tall male confirmed her suspicions. While the dangly bits meant he wasn't quite her type, Circe knew a fine creature when she saw one. He was quite the specimen and would make one hell of a catch.

"Understandable," she said with a laugh. "I wasn't expecting to find such a beautiful array of colors down here, but I'm glad I did."

She eyed him curiously and tried to gauge whether or not he had a keener interest in the fungi. If he shared her interest in the mushrooms and their properties then she'd lose an edge. "They've got more going for them than their pretty colors, you know."

An idea was forming. Perhaps if she could just pique his curiosity...
