She looked up to Shaye, surprised to hear that she was once a healer herself. According to Shaye she wouldn't have to give up healing and could certainly learn both things, from Shaye herself. Her eyes brightened a dead give away to her joy in hearing that. Then the alpha asked Actaea to walk with her and she nodded, standing and moving closer. When Shaye began to walk, Actaea walked along side her, looking up to her and wondering what she was thinking about. She was curious if this pack had birth rite ranks like Ruina had. Did Shaye get her rank by rite, or had she created this pack? Actaea never left the pack borders of Ruina, so she really didn't know that this pack had been here for a while or that it has had several leaders before Shaye.
Part of her also was worried, worried that if she got to close that Shaye would also abandon her like her father had. It made her gaze fall to the ground thinking about it. She wasn't good at truly displaying how she felt and she didn't know how to ease her worries about being abandoned again. She then looked back up to Shaye her gaze fixed on the features of the women.
"This is a solid promise right? Meaning you will teach me and there is no going back on your word?" She was forward, but she had to know.
She craved knowledge and she desperately wanted to learn, but she needed someone to stick with her, someone she could trust. So Far Shaye had proved worthy of her promise after they had joined Abaven, but so had her father for a long while too.
