Spring is such a nice season. Flowers bloom and everything turns green. So lush and full of life. Birds sing above as the breeze whispers through the leaves of the trees. It was a new start, life life coming back from a fire. In the case of a earthen female it was how she felt inside. She no longer was alone, there was hope. Sometimes she felt so overwhelmed by it she swore she would take to the skies flying.
Sea green orbs danced as she pranced and skipped about chasing a butterfly. she was suppose to be hunting but she just couldn?t bring her focus on. One minute she was looking at wild flowers, admiring their beauty and ability to always come back after winter. She moved with a grace she was unaware of. Light footed as she was, she didn?t crash around the forest chasing one thing after another.
She might not be alone but she didn?t realize she had wondered away from Demoino. The white male was such an essential part of her life now, keeping her grounded. She couldn?t imagine what would have happened if she never met him. Possible gone insane from her paranoia.
Sunlight filtered down in the strong rays of the afternoon. The heat was rising but still cool. No the less the earthen female was growing thirsty. Pausing she looked about, noise in the air twitching. All she needed was to find the faint trail of moisture in the air. Ears twitched as she began to walk once more. It didn?t take long, or at least it didn?t seem to. The scent of water was strong and with confidence she strode forward till she stood at the edge of a small creek. The water was still cold coming down from the mountains. A few laps and she brought her head back up, water droplets clinging to her muzzle. Just as she turned a butterfly passed by to land on her nose. She dared to barely breath as she watched it slowly flap its dazzling wings. Its yellow and black wings a stark contrast to her eyes. So captured she would be oblivious to anything else around her.
