Ferrous watched the new alpha intently as he spoke. Her gaze never left his although her thoughts were scattered and ranged far and wide. They returned to Chaos often, but spent a great deal in the future. Was she made for this? It was hard to say. She'd thought so at one point, but maybe she had been wrong. Could her loyalty bounce from one to another so easily? Ferrous didn't begrudge her packmates the choice they'd made, but she didn't think she could. Perhaps she just wasn't made for it. Maybe she was just naive.

After exchanging a glance with Zahir, Ferrous stood and addressed Niente's new alpha. "I mean no disrespect, but I think I'm better suited to being on my own." She found Enrico next and gave him a small sad smile, but said nothing. Whatever she may have wanted to say to him she refused to say with an audience.
