SNAP CRACKLE POP

Obi watched the snake approach slowly, not taking his eyes off of it. He wasn't at first sure if the snake was meant to be there, but seeing it pause and take thought to the situation put Obi at ease. This snake must be like him... at least to some extent.
Archon breathed out a small huff in Obi's direction, bringing him back to focus.
There was healing to be done.
Circe had listened to his instructions and Obi fetched the needle and thread. He carefully knotted the horse hair and threaded it through the bone, pulling the first stitch through the rabbit skin with a tentatively held breath. It seemed to hold. After that, Obi made a tight stitch to keep the fur closed. It wouldn't last forever- and maybe not even that long depending on the activity of this male, but it would add an extra layer of hold and protection while the splint immobilized his wrist.
When he was finished, Obi backed off, nodding first to Archon, then to Circe.
Archon stepped forward, "It seems like we're ready whenever your friend is."
