She was scared, not sure if this deer would turn on her and try pummeling her into the ground with its hooves. Sure she was a wolf, a feared predator, but she was a small one that didn't have too good of fighting or hunting skills. She just hoped it would do what they wanted, saving them trouble.

And that's what it did. The deer bleated at her lunge, turning and fleeing, right towards Bane. Loccian quickly followed, not wanting to stand there all useless. She didn't get too close, just far enough to be safe and to make sure the deer saw her and would keep going in the same direction. Grey orbs were focused on the legs of the animal, watching every step. She did not want to get kicked by one of them.

Suddenly there was a blur of black, Bane running out of his hiding spot, causing the deer to take a hard turn and headed to the shoreline. Loccian dug her paws into the ground unable to make such a sharp turn, skidding to a stop. Without wasting any time her legs crossed over the other, turning her body and running towards where the two had gone.

By time Loccian had ran off to Bane and the deer, her orbs fell upon them just before they made a large splash into the water. Ears shot up, slowing to a stop, watching Bane hold the deer under and latch onto its throat. That's not why she stopped though, the kill... seemed a bit brutal. The animal thrashed around in the water, causing her to flinch away as droplets reached her. But within moments its movements eased, the life drained form it, the blood forming a small cloud in the shallow water.

She swallowed, watching him drag the animal from the water. Quickly she realized she had left this all to him, when she didn't want to. So she quickly made her way over, grabbing a limb and helped him drag the dead animal onto the shore then dropping it. She didn't dig in right away though. Instead she just sat there kind of awkwardly, tail curling over her paws, ears back against her head. She had a question for the man, but, she felt like it would be rude to ask while he was eating.

So with a sigh the young woman turned her head and leaned over, she would ask once they had their fill. Jaws clamped onto the skin then pulled back, turning her head side to side until the flesh tore. Then she dug in, grabbing large chunks, chewing on them then swallowing. This would be the most she had ever eaten in her life.
