Ace was content here. Abaven so far had probably been one of his better choices so far. His mind often wandered to Elias from time to time. Lip curling a bit at the thought of him. There was nothing he could do about that now, not until Elias showed his face again. And when he did, well......Ace didn't get to think more about what he'd do to his brother when he saw him again, because he realized that the kits had gone quiet. Standing up, he frantically looked around for a moment, crimson gaze searching for the pair. Where the hell did they go!? He swore they were here just a minute ago! "Where the hell did you two run off to!?" He muttered under his breath as he set his nose to the ground to track them down.

He didn't have to go far. Their scents got closer, and when he lifted his head he spotted them several feet ahead. He walked up to them, ready to scold them for running off when he noticed someone else was there. His gaze fell on the small form of another wolf, though she wasn't immediately familiar to him. "Hey sis, why do ya think she looks like that?" The male kit had spoken up, his olive green eyes staring wide at the she-wolf. "I dunno, looks like something tried to eat her," Ace frowned at their words, finding it rude what they were saying. "Enough you too! Don't be so rude!" He growled, making the fox kits shrink back a little. Didn't last long though before they went right back to gawking.

Ace sighed, rolling his eyes as he started to apologize. "I apologize for their behavior, I'm trying to teach them some ma--" His gaze found the small woman's face, noticing that her ears were torn to shreds and her eyes were gone. Hold on a second...wasn't she one of Ruina's lambs before? He had seen her once or twice but didn't care much about who had been there before. "You were one of Ruina's lambs, weren't you?" His tone was neutral, though not hard or brash. He wasn't expecting to find any of Ruina's old members here, but then again...where else was this little-wretched creature going to go? He doubted she could navigate very far on her own and made sense that she ended up here considering Abaven was practically Ruina's neighbor.
