Ivy was less inclined to think that Branch's idea of settling down was a good one, but if pressed on the matter she supposed it had its perks. Despite her uptight demeanor, she truly had the heart of a wanderer - the nomadic lifestyle seemed to fit the Wreckage family best - but she wasn't about to question Branch's decision. No, not that she had started to settle into a more stagnant lifestyle herself, slowly growing accustomed to the lands he'd claimed for their family. That wouldn't stop her from occasionally grumbling about it to herself when nobody else was around, but Ivy wasn't the type to whine in front of anyone else, especially family, so she doubted anyone knew that she'd initially been questioning Branch's choices.

Despite her wariness, that didn't mean Ivy wasn't fully committed to the idea of Kesali. She'd already taken the initiative to travel to a pack nearby for a bit of an exchange, offering them a lesson on crafting in exchange for a lesson of their own. Beyond that, she was busying herself with becoming familiar with their new homelands, from the plains to the expanse of willow trees that lay to the east, and the river that bordered the northern edge of their lands. Today was was scouting the borders, wanting to make sure nothing was amiss, trying to see if any unfamiliar scents needed to be tended to. So far nothing seemed out of the ordinary, but as she was wandering she heard a familiar call cutting through the silence of the day.

Was that really Moon? Her head snapped up, interest painting itself across her features as she tried to recall how long it had been since she'd seen her sister. She had a restless, inventive spirit like Ivy did, so it wasn't a surprise that she hadn't followed Branch quite as quickly as the others had. Either way, she was happy to hear from her now, and she wasted no time in heading toward her call. Once her sister grew near, looking as though she'd just gone for a swim, a smile crept over her features. "About time you showed up," Ivy drawled, though there was an obvious fondness in her voice as she greeted her and looked her sister over. "Thought you could run from us forever, did you?" Jest was rarely heard in her voice, but her siblings earned an exception to that rule - and since Ivy wasn't the warm and fuzzy type, that was Ivy's version of a warm welcome.
