Hannibal laid seven tail lengths deep within the cave staring out of its depths with a harsh cave. His head rested atop large front paws and his tail curled against his side lazily. Ears flickered every now and again as unsuspecting critters scurried by the mouth of the cave. He had been resting there for a while to avoid the setting sun as much as possible. The albino had done well as of late. His scabs were scarring and the male was leading a burn free life. There was no reason to change his habits. It seemed even with pups coming he would have to remain nocturnal until he found a permanent solution to his skin problems. As the stranger fought her way towards the cave the male perked up ever so slightly. He was just deep enough into the cave to be hidden by a blanket of shadow. It was snowing quite hard and the winds picked up significantly. Hannibal silently observed her lithe form move his way and remained still as she entered the cave. The behemoth observed for a few long moments before allowing a smirk to slither across chilled lips. "How brave of you to pick a fight with the elements." The hellhound raised his large head as his gazed moved to her own beautiful eyes. speech action |
