She tried to comfort her, but Thora pulled away and Storm grew a bit uneasy as her daughter was quiet and shifted around. She then began to explain and Storm remained quiet as she talked. Thora didn't give her a chance to talk, but Storm was used to that. Thora had always been fairly talkative. The beginning of her news made Storm pleased, glad that Ty had taken on the leadership role again. She knew her son was meant for it and to hear Cloud was high ranking again made her happy as well. She remembered how upset Cloud had been when Ty disappeared, leaving Dauntless.

Then the next set of new was unsettling, ending with heartbreaking news. She felt her head begin to break hearing that Ty no longer used the Wreckage name. She shifted and stiffened as she tried to bury her emotions in order to remain calm with Thora. She did not want to break in front of her and make her even more upset then she already is. Feeling Thora bury her face into her neck drew her from her thoughts and made her bend her head down to gently nuzzle her.

"It'll be okay Thora, momma will come check on him. You need to head back before it gets dark," she said not giving Thora a chance to protest. "Quick now I want you back in the pack lands before dark."

She nudged her with a warming smile. Thora soon got up and bid her a farewell before quickly heading off, leaving Storm on her own once more.
