Venus In Fur

Tyranis lifted his head from the fox pelts that lined his den, his golden eyes looking out into the darkness to fall on the bronze woman. He had grown to dislike her along with most of the members of his pack, but they had at least proven they would not abuse the resources of his pack to suit their own needs like the motley band of Dauntless had.

“What brings you here?” He asked sternly, his coat blending into the shadows of the night leaving only the white markings and yellow orbs of his eyes visible in the darkness. He didn’t address the woman by her name, thus far she hadn’t earned enough of his interest to gain such a courtesy, and she had been brash enough to disturb him while he slept.

He was tired from the day’s labor of hunting through the snow and ice to ensure that his woman had enough to eat. His efforts had yielded two pheasants that were slim with the starvation of winter but as far as he was concerned anything he hunted for the cream woman was to be considered a gift and a kindness.
