The fun is just starting

Basilias' senses were on all alert as she heard the pawsteps of another animal. She faced them as they entered the area. The other wolf laid down and later took a defensive stance. This surprised Basilia, she had yet to give them a reason to defend themselves. She looked with curiousity at the other wolf, they didn't look to be as fit as she was nor as tall. Fighting them probably wouldn't lead to anything entertaining.

Changing her tactics Basilia decided to speak to the wolf, "I have not given you a reason to be defensive, so why do you act so?" Her question wasn't spoken with malice. Only a wondering as to why the wolf felt such a need to be defensive. Granted a wolf should always be on the lookout, but not as visibly. The mind should be focused on every detail whereas the body should look relaxed until there was truly a reason to appear on alert.
