Joshua and Jericho

The other man tried to soothe himself, in fear or anger Archon wasn't sure. It didn't matter. He was letting his emotions get the better of him and it was showing. Truly a sad display for someone in a position of power. He said something about not having to fight a lunatic or his God. Little did he know that Archon would proudly bear the title lunatic for his God and if this alpha thought he was making some sort of point, he was miserably mistaken. He told Archon to come and take the land from him and Archon let the smallest smile creep on his face.
"I fully intend to," he reassured the other. The alpha went into full compensation mode, making a big show of his exit. Archon shot a look to Obi who made no attempt to hide his snickering expression. What a typical mortal king, so insecure in himself that he had to go around making a big show about it. He was sure the given the opportunity the big and strong king would have his pack tear Archon to pieces rather than risk his own hide in battle.
A shame he would be forced to do the latter, as a true alpha. Archon let out another disappointed sigh and headed to gather his band and head to the battlefield.
