When she wasn't busy thinking about the past, or trying to spend more time with Dragon to make up for her previous failings, Iskra did still occasionally allow herself to indulge in a little wandering every so often. She was always careful to make sure she could find Dragon again though. Iskra was determined to not let him down again. Trying to actually enjoy her little adventure further north, she made her way around the familiar border of Abaven. It smelled like new wolves and the scent of the woman she'd met there ages ago was long gone. New leadership had likely taken over. She decided not to bother with investigating that for now, and continued moving more north.
She was a ways off from the lake, but she knew it was there. She could smell it. Her desire to go looking for a drink was soon forgotten though when she heard a frustrated voice nearby and followed the sound to an odd spectacle indeed. A boy with long locks growing from his head was looking visibly upset, with nothing else of interest in sight aside from a bird perched overhead. Interest piqued, Iskra approached the youngster. "Hey there. What's got ya' frownin' like that? Yous mom very tell you if make faces like that it'll stick that way?"
