Winter had it out for her. Ever since the season started it seemed like she was ending up locked in battle with a predator every few weeks. Mountain lions, coyotes, and enough bears she could make a rug just from the patches of fur she snipped out of them in combat. Valdís stretched and examined her healing wounds from the last bear attack. All in all everything seemed to be healing up nicely. The skin was still reddish but at least it was no longer bleeding. She needed to get something special for Ásvor. She had shown exemplary skill and patience in tending to her trouble prone lover.

Valdís hadn't discussed her relationship with anyone in the pack. She figured they didn't need to know. If it every became relevant then she'd share the nature of her relationship with Ásvor but until then she was enjoying keeping it between them. It was like sharing a sweet little secret.

She heard Chaos' call and was swift to answer, curious as to the occasion of his summons. She loped easily out to a clearing where she spied the older man. A swift not in greeting and she took a seat across from him.
