Feeling so Low

It was nightfall and she was feeling very heave hearted as she returned to the pack lands. She had tried to have a full day out to try and hunt herself and she returned empty handed. Each try had ended in failure and it really put a damper on her mood. It had worn her out, but she mentally didn't feel like sleeping. She wandered back into the pack territory and headed to the shrine. She found this part of the pack was a lot less creepy then the other territory. Even though her den was in the forest, it didn't make it any better.

Moving over to the shrine she sat in front of the glowing pool, sitting near the brightest part of the territory. Silver eyes would briefly look around before she looked down to the pool. She wished she was back with her mother, back within the clan. Things were a lot brighter there and here she was still struggling to fit in. She hadn't even met anybody close to her age. Was there anyone her age? She sighed and laid on the cool stone still looking into the glowing pool.
