The quiet boy offered her another small smile, giving his cheeks a work out as they experimented with those muscles. She had taken a bite and pushed the meal back to him. It seemed he had started a pattern with his intro to the shared meal. He took another bite, rip into the limbs and opening up a soft soft, so that her next bite would get more flavour. He pushed the rabbit back to her, pleasantly surprised at how quiet she was. She didn’t feel the need to ramble, and fill the silence with words. When she did speak, he found her soft words easy on his ears, and he cleared the mouthful, and took a moment before replying. “No.” he would answer, and he paused a moment, and one might think that was all. But.. he couldn’t leave the girl hanging, even he had enough sense to know the answer wasn’t enough. “I want to be a warrior, but I get by on hunting in the meanwhile. I’m… Astraios.” he glanced down a moment after that marathon of words. |
