Winter Inside

Little baby blue eyes fluttered into view as tiny lids were lifted. Lashes bounced as the fur ball blinked away the pesky foggy vision that came with waking up. The greyscale pup lifted her tiny head to glance around aimlessly. It seemed mom and dad were out again and they were being carefully watched over by the thin mahogany lady. There was no worry nor doubt in her mind that her parents would soon come home to being them food and fun. But, what caught her attention was her prestigious warm toned brother sighting high upon his make shift throne. A tiny puppy brown wiggled upward in simple curiosity. "Whatcha lookin' at Mords?" Banshee's voice was chipper as she lifted her fluffy form up onto four healthy paws.

It seemed Recluse was still asleep and this time the mischievous pup was nice enough to allow it for now. Banshee was face to face with her little brother but he was elevated on top of a rock. The much larger pup grinned, exposing those sharp puppy teeth, just before she moved to climb on the rock as well. There was only room for one pup and Banshee seemed to decide that it was going to be her sitting on the throne. Therefore as she lifted her form upward her head barreled into Mordi's side in attempt to shove him off the pedestal. "Take that!" A flurry of joyful giggled hit the air as she watched her brother topple.
