To the hunt
They were very straight forward and to the point. Hannibal enjoyed drama and theatrics but in those moments he was quite aware that none were needed. As a response came from his comrade the albino merely nodded. It was a firm gesture of approval as his eyes darted to the tuft Rai was referring to. Hannibal moved in to take a long sniff and his senses were enveloped with that of a Deer. Instinctively his belly rolled with hunger before pointed eyes moved to the earth. With the thick forest it was hard to pinpoint many tracks but he was able to make out a few slender and pointed hoof prints in the muck. They followed the tracks and the thickening scent with ease for a Deer should be easy prey for two Wolves in their prime. As they neared their prey a gentle rustle could be heard. Hannibal spared a quick glance towards Rai and it was easily unsaid which sides they would take. Hannibal to the left and Rai to the right. With that knowledge the pale beast carefully slithered through the thicket towards the left of the Deer and finally locked his eyes upon its beautiful tan bodice. His belly did some more flips but his mind was much more focused on the task at had. As he was locked into position the Taskmaster flashed a look to Rai one last time. Suddenly the older Wolf set forth into a dash. The Deer was quickly alerted but before it could pivot and run Hannibal leapt upward towards it left hind leg. Jaws snapped at the right hind elbow of it's leg and paws moved to dig into the earth to stop the creature from running. His teeth sunk into the thin flesh and met bone with ease. Hannibal's head thrashed and hopefully with the help of Rai the Doe would soon fall to its demise.
