Shaye was irritable, stressed and did not for a moment trust the two hot headed boys back at that shit show not to do something stupid. Hell, they were doing something stupid even when she left. She dropped off the pup, her blood boiling, her head pounding, and feeling more than a little wretched for letting lose her steam in Tana’s face.
She came across the small form of Olafur just before she left the pack lands, and it gave her an idea. She jogged over to the monkey and asked where she could find Odysseus, and was quick to be lead to his side.
Some of the tension loosened in her face when she saw the man, and there was an almost audible sigh of relief. “Thank all the gods, Odysseus, hi” she said, speaking even as she jogged, before stopping before him. “Sorry I don’t have time for niceties, yours is the first sane face I have seen all day. I don’t know what's in the water, but my wolves are getting hot headed in a bad way, and I may need some backup keeping them from starting a war. In light of that, I promote you to head diplomat, today and the days ahead Abaven is going to need a sane representative. I know its a lot to ask of you on short notice, but.. I know you’ll do what’s right, I trust you.”
She gave him an apologetic expression, she and him both might have a lot of fires to put out in the near future. “Grab what you need to bash some heads together and come with me” she directed “I’ll explain on the way”
