Odysseus had not had any time to prepare for anything, and yet even if he had, he didn't think he would have been able to foresee this situation. His surprise briefly showed on his face as he listened to Shaye speak; his lips parted slightly in a small 'o'. Using the same technique that allowed him to smooth his features when presented with a horrific injury, Odysseus quickly adopted a determined but otherwise neutral expression.

"I'll do what I can," he said firmly before beckoning to Olafur, who quickly jumped up onto his back. Odysseus didn't know where they were going or what was happening, but the day he'd agreed to join Abaven he'd made a commitment to the pack and to Shaye. He would go with her without hesitation.

"Lead the way - and spare no details. I want to know everything you know." He had nothing to take with him. No plants, no bandages, no splints - no, if he was going somewhere to bash heads together he was going there strictly for the head bashing. Let them tend their own wounds.
