Pfft, Kanja saying she valued her dignity too much to go on a season-long drinking dive.
"Like you have dignity in the first place," he said, springing away a step or two for good measure.
She said she was looking for puppies to kick, saying he was kickable. Ash threw her a wink, "Oh, I'm much more than just kickable, baby," He said, his voice dripping with fake seduction. "Never knew you were a sadist though."
He remembered to keep his distance.
"You found yourself a partner with that puppy-kicking habit?" he asked, the joke a cover for the information he decided he wanted. What was she up to these days? Ash wanted to know without giving away the fact that he, you know, actually cared about Kanja.
