What much could he do besides explore and follow tracks. Then again it was within reason to get to know the lands he had never visited. There was still that ring in Striden's head saying he needed more than this to be happy. What was the point of freedom if one couldn't show it off to anyone? Life wasn't just a place to explore and wonder around, he had already came with that conclusion many times over.

The situation he was in was just a stepping stone, literally. The stone wall here was not natural no matter how one looked at it. He pondered on it's function. To block wind? Nah, he just couldn't get his head around the logic. Maybe the locals know something about it. Then again these rocks look like they've been there for ages. Whatever they were for, they didn't seem to work as intended.

As soon as he lost interest, Striden made the effort to claim up whatever was left and use it as a vantage point. The wind made it chilly but that was nothing he couldn't handle. The area seemed to be quite flat. It wouldn't be too difficult to spot creatures from afar. However they would probably be able to see him just as well. Not that it matter at this stage, he'll just enjoy the chilly air for the time being.
