In The Now

Felicity had learned a great deal from her first rocky start in gardening. She could identify weeds and pull them delicately from the garden, as her mother had shown her time and time again. She enjoyed the setting, the sweet aromas that were familiar to her. She learned to wrestle with her brothers, with one memorial win over Aureus, that she rather enjoyed to lord over him.

Most of her learning at this stage was done through games, and play, egging on her siblings and letting them do the same to her. She didn’t yet know what she wanted to be when adulthood overtook her, but she knew that she would be whatever the pack required of her.

She caught the scent of her father before she saw him, and a quick glance to the side told her exactly where he was. The wind was in her favour, and there was a slim chance that her cunning old man might not have found her yet. She slung down through the garden, hugging the earth, and circling around him. Once she could come up behind him, the young girl would spring from her hiding place with a ferocious growl, and leap fearlessly at the larger wolf. She would aim to get a good nip in on the back of his leg, if she could.
