This man, Leera decides, is very interesting indeed. With his own thirst for power and his value of blood and tradition, he reminds her vaguely of a ghost of herself. Perhaps he is more outwright in his ways, more open with his speech and ideas -- Leera has a knack for secretism -- but even still, in some ways they are the same. Her eyes flash with silent interest as she watches him speak of his brother.
The only thing that makes Hannibal rather boring is his loyalty to Tyranis. Leera sees the potential in the patchwork male, the dual-eyed warrior, and now with these mentionings of an empire she sees how the pieces could fall into place. How it could work. "You will need Hannibal," she says bluntly, watching Carthage. And it's true, if Carthage hasn't lied about his loyalty to blood then Hannibal is an essential piece. "Don't try to build alone. Take him from Tyranis, point him in the right direction. For he is your brother, no? Whom would be better at appealing to his smarter nature than blood itself?"
