On Earth as it is in Heaven [CHALLENGE]

Amunet watched, unflinching. Her dark chocolate gaze unwavering from the sun her world had once revolved around. Watched as he spun, dizzyingly, out of orbit. She could taste the memory of the bastard child's blood on her tongue, feel the energy of her victory thrill through her, even as she watched Ra fail in overcoming a single one of his demons. She didn't move, did not cry out, hardly blinked as she watched the man she'd once been enamoured with implode under his own hubris.

She did not flinch when the mutant snapped Ra's leg beneath its weight, nor did she rush to his side. Her face was cold, hard, empty of all the naive love and adoration she'd once held for him.

The freak spoke, claiming a title it could never hold and Amunet had to laugh as an empty, weak threat fell from its lips. "You and you're siblings are not Ithuriel, lay claim to an empty crown if you wish. Become Pharoah over a whole army of worthless bastards but you can never claim our spot among the heavens. The only truth you speak is that the man before you is pharaoh no more." She lifted herself slowly onto her paws, her tone even but strong as she spoke. There was no anger anymore, only authority.

"Do not presume that because you bested an old, impotent man that you are anything special. Unlike him I've not forgotten where my worth is, I've not let myself become weak for want of fucking." She turned tail, leaving her brother to wallow in the mud, let his bastard kill him for all she cared. Then she paused, tossing the last of her words over her shoulder.

"I bested you once and will do so again, freak." Then she left. Her head held high, claiming within herself her rightful spot as the true pharaoh of the last of the Ithuriel line.
