Chaos vs Odysseus

Chaos leaned as far away from the scabby, scratchy creature as he could, but unfortunately for him his height put him over too many heads to avoid notice, and the gross little beast picked him anyway. His skin crawled and he had the sudden urge to scratch himself just out of the paranoid suspicion that whatever it was the coydog had was contagious. By previous agreement, both owls were perched awkwardly on the ground nearby waiting to assist in the fight - well, the larger female would be helping fight, anyway, but the smaller male had lost more feathers in the fight against Enrico and his leopard so he'd just be keeping watch for Chaos - and when the coydog indicated Chaos they both took off silently to circle over the ring of stones.
He shuddered and circled wide of the mongrel when he was directed to step into the ring, and took a moment to eye his opponent. Say, wasn't that the guy from Abaven that went on the raid with them? He was fairly distinctive, so he was willing to say yes, it was. "Heyyyy buddyyyy," he said in a tone that was more than a little like someone talking to a toddler. "How's Abaven going for you? Shaye making sure you guys all have plenty of arts-and-crafts time?"
When the male whipped around, Chaos wasn't sure if what he'd said had struck a nerve or if the wolf was just trying to take him by surprise, but Chaos spun to face him rather than leaving himself to take the hit to his side, and then immediately dropped into a low crouch, his shoulders and neck below the level of Odysseus' chest, and dove forward, trying to slam his shoulders into Ody's forelegs in an attempt to knock them out from under him. Ody's teeth grazed his scruff, leaving moderate lacerations behind his ears but he'd dropped too quickly to allow the other male to gain a grip. As he himself was diving forward, Chaos also tilted his head to the side and up, seeking to slice his long fangs along the bottom of Ody's ribcage - it was only a tournament, so he was careful to hold back from sinking the long dagger-like fangs into the chest because... well... that would be bad.

Unless otherwise mentioned as absent, assume that both Great Horned owl companions are nearby
Chaos speaks in a strong lisp, which I am usually too lazy to write
