Artur narrowed his eyes at the abrasive coydog who picked them out, but immediately changed his attention to his opponent as they made their way to the ring, and he frowned. Was she... falling asleep? She made a face that was either a really lazy snarl or a yawn, and his own lips peeled back from his teeth in a real snarl, of disgust. Were they serious with this? Pairing him against a baby, and one who couldn't even be bothered to put some effort into it? You'd think they'd at least pair all the little babies together and let all the older pups fight each other... though they'd end up fighting the babies anyway if they won their matches, so maybe it would be good to get it over with now.

When she sprinted towards him, he merely shifted to take the impact of her lighter weight against the center of his chest and pushed against her, hoping she'd bounce right off and tumble back ass-over-ears. He ignored the attempted slam of her much-smaller paw against his, but though her little milk-teeth wouldn't do much real damage he wasn't interested in feeling them in his side if she didn't bounce off either, so he'd need to put a stop to that. He snapped his own jaws at her instead, trying to sink his teeth into the top of her scruff - assuming her scruff was even there after she hit his chest - with the intention of picking up the pup and shaking her like the little rodent she was.
