Rebirthing

Spring had finally arrived, and with it came all sorts of new hunting opportunities. Cloud had been promising his younger sister over and over that he'd take her out to hunt, and now that it was Springtime, he'd finally make good on that promise. The past winter had been pretty difficult, forcing Cloud to travel further and further away to track anything decent. At some point, it just wasn't worth the effort, so he stuck to trying to hunt what he could closer to the pack but everything he found was scrawny. He had struck out that morning to track down some prey, and it didn't take him very long before he came upon a good-sized herd of pronghorn. Bi-colored gaze surveyed the herd, observing and studying them. He signaled to his companion that this is where they would hunt, so the bird of prey took off to fetch Thora. Cloud crouched in the grass, keeping a good distance away so that the herd wouldn't see him and run before he even got a chance.
