He didn't seem like he was going to let go any time soon, at least that was how it felt to her. Caelia felt teeth digging into her ear, the pain stronger than she'd expected - it wasn't enough to make her want to give up, but it still caught her briefly off guard. She didn't want to admit she was slightly afraid of the much younger boy, but she totally was a little wary of him.. he had a childlike fearlessness that she couldn't replicate, as hard as she tried to seem calm and collected. Surely as an Adravendi she could still come out on top, even if the fight was more difficult than she expected.

What she also didn't expect was to see him flip backwards, over onto his back, his tail curling over his stomach. Without hesitation, before she could really react, he was kicking up at her with his wide paws, and she let out another snarl, trying to retract away from him. Pulling back too far though felt like it might equate to admitting defeat - and he made that option impossible as he leaned over to latch his jaws onto her right forelimb. Thinking fast, she snapped her jaws down at him, aiming to grab near his throat again, not overly hard but hoping she could somehow grab hold of his neck from the side - as he held firmly onto her leg - hoping the pressure was just enough to force him to relinquish her hold on him.
