And the whole world fades

Riva was taking a break from tending to the earth where her herb garden would eventually sprout. She had fertilized the earth, and divided it into sections for different categories of plants. She was just about ready to plant some of the seeds she had been gathering, but the day was hot, and she could do with a moment's rest. She moved towards the lake that rain closer to the bones of her garden, and would take a sip of the refreshing water. It was chilled, but in a good way after a few hours of hard work.

She stepped her front paws into the water, and let the gentle current lap against her legs, enjoying the refreshing feel of it. Her head was full of herbs, a mental catalogue of what she already had, what she was turning into medicine, and what she still needed to collect.

With a sigh she pushed herself out of the water and back onto land. She settled down on one of the banks, and enjoyed the early evening air, knowing she would be getting back to work shortly.
