"Dad! Look who it is!" Ace's train of thought was stopped pretty quick when he heard Finn's voice. Glancing up, he spotted the unmistakeable form of the winged creature. He still wasn't used to seeing a wolf with wings...so he was still understandably shocked when he looked at him. The wolf was a small creature, and it was very likely that his cubs would grow a little bigger than the young boy. But even so, Ace was glad to see a familiar face. Gav was a gentle soul, even Ace could see that. He followed the foxes as they bounded around the lake to meet with the calico yearling. Ace was a little slower in following, but mostly because he didn't want to hurry in the event that Gav wanted to be left alone.

Finn wasted no time in running right up to Gav with a huge grin on his face. "Heya! Aren't you a sight for sore eyes! How are ya!?" To Ace's surprise, Finn had been more or less polite with his greeting. He guessed that his teachings were paying off to some extent. As he neared Gav and his little companion, he stopped a respectable distance away and dipped his head in greeting. "Good day, Gavroche. It's a pleasure to see you again," He smiled warmly as his gaze lingered over the boys wings again. Man, that was going to take some getting used to..
