Riva was more than a little surprised when he sunk to the earth then and there. He clearly had no intentions of finding somewhere else to bed for the night, and told her he cared not where she slept. His breathing was a little shaky, but he seemed a little more calm now, and was even able to laugh. She put her antihistamine within easy reach, in case she needed it within the night. After that, she sunk down to the earth as well. She kept a respectable distance between them, and curled up her tiny frame into a small ball.
She tucked her tail over her nose, and once she as small and tightly curled as possible, she closed her eyes. She was far from comfortable, sleeping out in the open was unfamiliar for the young girl, especially doing so in winter. She was cold to boot, and she hated the cold. The best part of bedding down for the night was getting out of the weather. But she owed it to Hannibal to stick nearby, and she was a woman of her word. She would sleep uneasily, and wake quickly if she heard Hannibal having any troubles in the night. Her dreams where a product of her uncomfortable sleep, and unhappy memories of childhood.
