Cordelia vs Cassiel

Cassiel wasn't particularly impressed with the coydog who picked him from the crowd for his first match, and his jaw set into a disapproving scowl as he followed him to the ring. His glower only deepened when he saw what he'd be fighting. What in the hell was that? Her tail was longer than her body! Surely she didn't expect to fight with that cumbersome deformity dragging behind her. It was madness!

But it did seem she was determined to do so, because as soon as the coydog gave her the go-ahead the slavering she-bitch was racing for him. Cass' already-prickly hackles stood on end as his muzzle writhed into a snarl of disgust, and he was quick to spring to his right even as she did, so rather than allowing her to slip by him and fasten her teeth in his ribs he set himself directly in the path of the lighter female and dug his claws in, fully ready to take the brunt of the blow against the front of his chest.

As he avoided her bite, he retaliated with his own, ducking his head and tilting it, deliberately attempting to bring his gaping jaws to close around her throat right where it met her jaw, with the intention not of crushing the windpipe or opening the veins, but rather with the intention of putting precise pressure around her throat to close off the blood flow there and leave her strangling and gasping until she passed out from depriving her brain of blood and ending the fight in his favor.
