Basilia truthfully didn't know why she decided to do this to herself. Whether it was some kind of hidden wanderlust or the urge to shake things up she didn't know. Her desire for constant entertainment could lead her into some rather tricky situations, but they were normally small enough that they didn't warrant much concern. Maybe after this particular escapade she would have to rethink her lifestyle.

The other wolf responded with "Ah...I see. Long journey home then?" The journey was indeed long, but she could almost taste the end of it. "That would be an understatement, but enough of me talking about my adventures in the cold. What's your name?" Basilia figured that she had been talking to the other wolf long enough to warrant an exchanging of names. She didn't feel the need to explain more about where she was going or why she was going there, so names felt like a good enough distraction as any.
