Cordelia vs Cassiel
Sharply, Cordelia squeezed in her neck at her right side instinctively as the other neared her side with gaping jaws, and due to her prior defences it caused Cassiel to only grab a mouthful of thick fur and flesh near the side of her neck. She felt some pain from the other having bitten her, but the grip was not tight, and with the thrust of her own pivoting, with her tail acting like a rudder and helping her to balance, Cordelia swung herself around towards her right (Cassiel's left) , muzzle a mere few inches away from the other. Without wasting any time, the spider witch launched herself two steps forward and lunged in to clamp down on the soft spots of flesh between the male's jawbone and neck, her own head kept sideways and lowered such that her skull was out of reach of Cassiel's muzzle, while one raised paw (remaining raised after her second step towards Cassiel) aimed to crush the other downwards along his ribs. Her own hindquarters dug deep into the ground, claws getting a firm grip to maintain her balance while her ears were tucked for protection and her eyes narrowed to focus..
