Artur vs Eurus

His opponent moved as he too charged towards Artur, and their combined weight and velocity hurt more than Artur expected it would. His own bite missed when the boy ducked, and while his leg managed to hook his opponents foreleg it didn't have the effect he had been told it would, and he quickly abandoned that precarious grip to pivot to face his opponents right shoulder - unfortunately since only his hindquarters moved, the other boy's bite scored a long gash on his right foreleg before he instinctively jerked back at the pain, keeping the boy from getting a solid grip on him. Young as he was, Artur had not yet learned to accept pain in a fight, and the clamber of various injuries wanting his attention was a bewildering cacophony of pain that his much gentler spars with his siblings hadn't prepared him for. It narrowed his focus down to one thing - hurting the other boy as much as he was hurting. Coiling his hindquarters beneath him, he drove forward again, this time aiming the point of his left shoulder towards the boy's ribcage right behind his left foreleg about halfway down, looking to hit as hard as he could. At the same time he snapped out with his jaws, attempting to grab the boy around the neck, with his upper fangs overtop his neck behind the ears and his lower jaw seeking to catch the side of his throat right where it met the other boy's jaw, intending to grip there hard.
