Dragon vs Pyralis

Pyralis was enjoying herself immensely. She hoped the tournament would be held again in the future and that she would be youthful enough to participate in it. She'd been keeping stress and restlessness pent up inside of her that was finally given an outlet. She kept her defenses solid as best she could. When she collided with Dragon her shoulder would hit with such force he was pushed to the side and her jaws just missed. She had no intention of just standing there and letting her target get away. Pyralis was anxious to use her greater speed against her heavier opponent. Her legs coiled and she sprang once more, her upper body arcing in to her left as she followed Dragon's hindquarters. They were almost a yin/yang, curling after each other. As such his assault would miss and his bid for her tail would succeed in just grabbing a clump of fur and failing to get a solid hold.

Her movement caused the cat's assault to land elsewhere. Instead of landing solidly on her back the cat's right claws would instead rake down her left thigh, due to her curving in, leaving moderate lacerations and spattering the ground with blood. Jaws spread wide her head arcing down as she sought to bite into his left side, high up and just in front of his left thigh. Her goal was to shred the Satorius muscle and cripple her opponents movement.
