Eyes towards the future

Torin knew with the turning of spring that they were a season away from the pack's youngest members becoming old enough to chose their place within Lirim, and he'd had yet truly met them. Of course he'd seen them out and about and with Frostbite, but he hadn't taken the time to really speak to them one on one. So that's what he was doing today, it wasn't particularly urgent though as he simply chose to keep an eye out as he went about his business, he had managed a full patrol of the borders and was now taking a rest in the valley, he was casually watching a fox, it's bright red tail just peeking out above the grasses. He supposed they'd need to take care of that, Lirim's lands were plentiful enough to sustain them but there wasn't much to go around and a fox would pose a threat to the smaller prey the pack needed.
