I didn't realize there were polar bears in the polar sound...

Song hadn’t left Fyri lands since he had joined, but that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. He was getting to know his new pack lands, and a member or two when he could track them down. Song was afraid to say that he had a better friend in the alpha, Aurielle than any of his pack mates. Kirsi was lovely, and he looked forward to getting to know her better but other than she and Ignatius he hadn’t spoken with many inside Fyri. Not that it was a big pack to begin with, just quiet.
He decided that morning that it was time to go see some more of the northern reaches he had decided to call home. His tall form and white coat did him well in the arctic environment, better than he’d ever anticipated really. While his white fur helped him he wasn’t the only predator around who boasted such a well camouflaged coat.
He too saw the caribou first, though when he first spotted them they were stationary. They grazed quietly on the sparse grass and lichen that flourished here. Song thought for a moment he might be off with a quick meal, but they bolted before he could really get into position. He grumbled to himself, for a long moment sure he had been the one to spook them. Then he saw the bear.
It was a great lumbering white beast, and was in full gallop towards Song’s position. He’d already tangled with a moose that season he wasn’t particularly looking forward to dancing with a great white bear too. So, Song turned tail and ran down the coast. He didn’t have time to admire the stranger’s appearance as he raced towards him, but he did manage to call out.
”Bear!”
