Crazy Aunt

Recluse wasn't sleeping as much during the day as she used to, with only her mother around and not being allowed to wander too far outside the den without her parents she'd been forced to swap around her sleep schedule, and it was making her irritable. Both because of the sudden change in her sleep pattern but also because the warm rays of the sun had started to scab her delicate peach skin. At first it had been kinda fun, she was becoming more like dad but the longer it went on the more it really was turning out not to be fun. In fact it made her coat feel clumpy and gross and hurt more often than not.

Her mother had left in a hurry not too long ago, shortly after she'd heard her dad howling in the distance. Recluse had wanted to go and meet him, she missed him after all but her mother had ordered her and her siblings not to leave the den. So instead Recluse was pouting near the mouth of their new den.

A strange scent reached the pale child and a voice she did not recognize drifted towards her. Recluse felt, for the first time, a sense of dread come over her. Suddenly the pup was on her paws, sprinting back to the inner part of the den. She raced over to her sister, making to jab at Banshee as hard as she could with a forepaw.

"Ban! Ban, there's something outside!" She glanced back towards the mouth of the den, her voice soft but frantic. She didn't want whatever was out there to hear her. "I think it's a monster." She fixed her sister with a wide eyed look, real fear contorting her face for the first time.

"Speech"
